The next generation of ELIAH is currently in print with our 3D printer. Especially a lot has changed for ELIAHs dimensions and the device is now approximately 15% smaller than the last generation. Of course, final dimensions will be released before the campaign.
For the current version, Stefan has optimized all the parts for 3D printing, e.g. by constructing the supports himself. Most of the surfaces are now printed with 45° angle, using PETG and a 0.25 mm (approx. 9.84 mil) nozzle. Therefore the underlying surfaces are much more precise and supports could be reduced to a few structures only. Along with a heavily improved optical appearance, we will save a lot of time during post processing.
